It all started long ago…
I was the friend everyone would go to with a problem and my passion for helping others continued to evolve through my own experiences in therapy. I became even more passionate about working with women during the childbearing years after my own difficult journey through pregnancy loss, traumatic birth, the NICU and postpartum depression. I know these moments can be filled with so much joy, worry, self-doubt and overwhelm. The struggle is real . . . it’s hard, and it’s all too common. You are definitely, not alone! Through my training in maternal mental health and my passion for helping women through life’s transitions, it’s my hope to remove the shame and stigma for women to openly talk about their complex feelings. My goal is to help women embrace their truths and learn to overcome life’s difficulties and experience more of the joy life has to offer.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, # 104744 and hold a Perinatal Mental Health certification (PMH-C). I have completed numerous specialized trainings in Maternal Mental Health and am a trained Mother Woman facilitator. I earned my Masters in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, and I’m an active member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, Postpartum Support International and Maternal Mental Health Now.
